HED Conference 2018: Why We Take the Time to Feed the Homeless Population of a Local Community

“As you do unto the least of ye, so ye do unto me” These are the powerful Words of the Lord. Not everyone is as Blessed as we are, many people are struggling. People are homeless for numerous reasons, economic factors, mental illness, devastating personal tragedies, but they share one common characteristic; they are being ignored and left to largely fend for themselves by Caesar. There is only one dependable group that counts love for others as its bylaw, and is always available to lend a hand to those in need; people of Faith. We are the mortar that binds society to its better Angels, and our attention to its needs is often the only effort that is being made to alleviate the suffering. During the Healing Emotional Damages Conference in October 2018, we will once again enlist all interested Attendees to join us as we visit our Brothers and Sisters in need to provide good, satisfying meals, and uplifting and encouraging Ministry. This Mission to Feed the Homeless is open to everyone who wants to serve the Community, not only to HED Conference attendees. It is a faith-based Community Project. Our Conference President, Lady Yolanda Johnson, stresses the importance of this aspect of the Conference, and has put the responsibility in the capable hands of Minister Toney Lawson, and Brother Darrell Johnson.
